Terms of service

Last updated October 2, 2026

These terms apply to your use of the Quatern hosted service, including signing in and sending requests through our servers. By using the service, you agree to them.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Quatern service.

Your account

You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your sign-in and tokens secure. Tell us right away at [email protected] if you think your account has been misused.

Free usage and limits

We may offer free usage and apply usage caps and rate limits. We may change or end free usage at any time. Paid plans, when offered, are governed by the terms shown at purchase.

Acceptable use

Your code and data

You own the code Quatern writes for you and the data you provide. You give us only the limited rights we need to run the service for you, as described in our privacy policy.

Operating robots safely

Quatern helps you write, test, and monitor robot software, but it does not guarantee that a robot will behave safely. You are responsible for reviewing what you deploy, for the safe operation of your robots, and for keeping people and property clear while they run. Do not rely on Quatern as your only safety system.

No warranty

The service is provided as is, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Quatern is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for damage to robots, property, or people resulting from software you deploy. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $100 if you paid nothing.

Ending use

You can stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms and will change the date above when we do. Questions: [email protected].
